# Running and Previewing Projects

> Try your project as you build it.

The preview lets you use the current version of your project without leaving Juno.

## Open the preview

Use the preview control in the project toolbar to show or hide it.

* On **iPad**, you can keep more of the workspace visible while you try the project.
* On **iPhone**, switch between building and using the preview in a compact layout.
* On iPad, you can also open the preview in a separate window.

## Check the important paths

After a change, try the action you just requested. For a larger update, also check:

* The first screen
* Navigation between screens
* Forms and buttons
* Empty states
* Long text and smaller screen sizes
* Light and dark appearance when relevant

## If the preview stops working

Read the first error Juno shows. Undo the latest change or ask the assistant to fix that exact error. If the preview appears out of date, close and reopen it.

<Note>
  The preview is part of Juno. It does not install a separate app on your device.
